Supported Independent Living is for people who need help with daily living tasks in a shared or individual living arrangement. MindOn Care supports you to build skills, stay safe and be part of your community, while keeping control over your home and your choices.

Our SIL property

We operate a Supported Independent Living property in Warrnambool, Victoria (9 McPherson Crescent). The home is set up for person-centred living supports, with a focus on safety, dignity and everyday independence. Ask us about current vacancies and how support is matched to each participant’s goals and NDIS plan.

What SIL can include

• Personal care — showering, dressing and daily hygiene
• Meal preparation and healthy eating support
• Household tasks — cleaning, laundry and day-to-day home routines
• Money and household budgeting support
• Shopping for groceries and personal items
• Transport and getting around the community
• Building life skills and independence
• Community participation and social connection
• Overnight and 24/7 support where needed

Who it’s for

People with disability who need regular or intensive support to live independently, including in shared houses or their own home, with funding in their NDIS plan for SIL (including the new SIL line item) or related living supports.
